What Is KETO?
"The ketogenic diet, or keto, is a high-fat, low-carbohydrate diet that has gained a lot of
attention for its potential to help people lose weight quickly. By drastically reducing carbs
and increasing fat intake, your body enters a state called ketosis, where it burns fat for fuel
instead of carbohydrates."
Sounds great, right? Well, not so fast.
"Yes, the keto diet can lead to rapid weight loss, especially in the beginning. This is largely
due to the significant reduction in carbs, which causes your body to shed water weight.
However, this initial drop can be misleading. Once your body adjusts, the weight loss tends to
slow down, and it becomes harder to maintain."
