This guide is a love letter to your inner child and a call to reconnect with your body through movement that feels like living, not working out.
Close your eyes. Think back to a time you moved for joy, not results.
Was it roller-skating? Swimming? Jumping on a bed?
Write it down. Feel it again.
Ask yourself: When did I stop giving myself permission to feel that way?
Pick a song from your childhood or teen years.
Play it. Loud.
And for just 3 minutes, dance. No rules. No mirrors. No judgement.
Just you, your body, and the music.
Do this every day for a week.
Start with 3 minutes. Add more if it feels good.
Write a list of movement that sparks fun, not “fitness.”
✅ Dance in the kitchen
✅ Walk barefoot in grass
✅ Do a silly YouTube aerobics video from the 80s
✅ Try a new class just because it looks fun (not effective)
✅ Move with a friend who makes you laugh
Circle your favourites. Then commit to doing 2 this week.
To laugh.
To wobble.
To sweat and smile not because you “should,” but because it feels amazing.
